Now you can have your data stored at a remote location in addition to your regular back-up on-site. This way if anything ever happens at your location, your data will still be safe.

For as little as $10.50/yr you can rent a safe deposit box in some banks. The size is approximately 2" x 5" x 12". Barely large enough to hold a couple CDs & then there's the driving to the bank, standing in line, being escorted to the box, etc.

Online data backup can cost anywhere from $120/yr - $6,000/yr depending on how much data you'd like to back up. Your data is out there on the Internet & although companies guarantee that it's safe from hackers ... well, I've seen some pretty smart hackers. Then there's upload time & ... well, that could take a while.
